AJ Longtape Extensions are made exclusively from Eastern European human hair – one of the highest quality hair types worldwide. Eastern European hair is characterized by a particularly fine, even structure. The cuticle is intact and processed in the natural direction of growth (Remy quality).
This means: no tangling, natural shine, and durability that far surpasses inferior alternatives. The hair can be styled like your own – washed, blow-dried, straightened, curled, colored. It reacts to heat, moisture, and care just like natural hair.

The entire application takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

01. Wash hair
Wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo. No conditioner at the roots – silicones and oils reduce adhesion. Dry hair completely.
02. Divide batches
Section your hair horizontally. Start at the back of the head, approximately 2 cm above the nape of the neck. Work your way up, layer by layer.
03. Expose tape
Remove the protective film from the tape strip. The adhesive strip is now ready for use.
04. Adhere & Fix
Place the tape strip directly under a thin section of your own hair, as close to the roots as possible. Press the strip gently but firmly for approx. 5 seconds.
05. Place top hair over it
Drop the next hair section over the tape strip. The extension disappears invisibly under your natural hair. Repeat the process until you have achieved the desired volume and length.
Reusable. Again and again.
Your own hair grows approx. 1–1.5 cm per month. After 6–8 weeks, it's time to move the extensions up – i.e., closer to the roots, so they continue to sit invisibly.
Moving them up is just as easy as the first application: remove the tape, remove adhesive residues, apply new tape, fix again.

The Right Care for Your Extensions.
With proper care, AJ Longtape Extensions can be reused for up to 2 years.
Here are the most important tips:
→ Use a silicone-free, sulfate-free shampoo – silicones and sulfates dissolve the tape adhesive.
→ Do not apply conditioner or oil to the roots – this impairs adhesion.
→ After washing, dry the adhesive areas completely.
→ Never comb your hair from top to bottom over the tapes.
→ Avoid salt water and chlorine in the first few days after application.
→ Tie your hair loosely together when sleeping to prevent tangles.

Conventional tape extensions consist of many short tape strips (approx. 4 cm) that are applied individually. AJ Longtapes use a single, 80 cm long tape strip per extension. This makes application significantly easier, weight distribution more even, and the connection points even more invisible.
Yes – that's exactly what they were developed for. Stick on, press down, done. No tools, no heat, no prior knowledge needed. You'll have your result in about 20–30 minutes. You can find an instruction video further up on this page.
For added volume, 1 pack is usually sufficient. For significant lengthening, we recommend 2 packs. For very thick hair or maximum fullness, 3 packs may be advisable. You get a 15% discount on 2 packs and a 20% discount on 3 packs.
Our extensions are made from 100% human hair and can be individually dyed, tinted, or adjusted with a glossing treatment. Send us a photo of your hair via WhatsApp beforehand – we'll advise you on color selection for free.
